# UniPlayer

> UniPlayer is a premium media player for IPTV / OTT playlists on Apple TV, iPhone and iPad. Users bring their own M3U / M3U8 playlist (file or URL) from their own provider. Like VLC, UniPlayer is a neutral player — it does not sell, host, distribute, or provide any channels, streams, or content.

- Category: media player application (IPTV / OTT).
- Platforms: Apple TV (tvOS 15+), iPhone (iOS 13+), iPad (iPadOS 13+). Android and Smart-TV/Web are not yet available.
- You provide the playlist: UniPlayer plays M3U / M3U8 playlists you already own. It includes no built-in channels.
- Supported playlist/provider types: M3U, Xtream, Stalker, XML, VPortal — normalized into one unified interface.

- Archive (catch-up TV): rewind and watch past programs for providers that expose an archive API, with resume support.
- Players: System player (fast, low CPU) and VLC engine (4K / H.265, deinterlace, multiple audio tracks, hardware decoding). A Custom player with advanced cache tuning is available on Apple TV.
- Parental control: restrict access to unwanted or inappropriate content.
- SportHub (research preview): automatically links live match schedules to channels in your own playlist — a feature no other IPTV player offers — with spoiler-free mode for delayed streams.
- Multi-device: one account works across up to 4 devices.

- Credit system: 1 credit = 1 day of service. Credits never expire and stack across purchases.
- Non-auto-renewing: you are never charged without an explicit purchase.
- Free trial: 30 days, full functionality, no payment data required.
- Packages range from $2 (30 credits) to $50 (1000 credits). Up to 4 devices are covered by 1 credit/day.
