This Privacy Policy explains how Ivan Pavlenco (“we,” “us,” or “our”), the developer of UniPlayer, collects, uses, and protects your personal information. UniPlayer is a multimedia player for IPTV/OTT playlists available on Apple TV (tvOS 15+), iPad, and iPhone (iOS 15+). UniPlayer does not provide, host, or distribute any media content — users supply their own M3U/M3U8 playlists.
Please read this policy carefully to understand how we handle your Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you register on our service, we collect:
- Email address — used for authentication, account management, and support communications.
- Authentication method — whether you sign in via email or Apple ID (including “Hide My Email” relay addresses).
1.2 Usage and Device Data
- Device identifiers — to manage your active device slots (up to 4 devices per account by default).
- Viewing progress — synchronized across your devices via Apple CloudKit to enable seamless playback continuity.
- Playlist metadata — playlist URLs or file references you add to your account. We do not access or store the content of your streams.
1.3 Payment Information
We do not collect, store, or process your credit card numbers, bank account details, or other financial information. All payments are handled by third-party payment processors:
- Apple In-App Purchase — processed entirely by Apple. We receive only transaction confirmation and receipt data.
- FreeKassa — processes card payments, YuMoney, QIWI, cryptocurrency, and other methods. We receive only a transaction ID and payment status.
- PayPal — processed on PayPal’s platform. We receive confirmation of payment status only.
- CoinRemitter — processes cryptocurrency payments. We receive only a transaction ID and payment status.
We receive transaction identifiers and payment status from these providers to credit your account. We never see or handle your actual payment credentials.
1.4 Log and Network Data
- IP addresses — we log full IP addresses for all account access to detect unauthorized use. Sign-up IP addresses are retained indefinitely to prevent spam and abuse. Access logs are retained for as long as your account is active.
- CDN and routing data — our service uses Cloudflare as a CDN and load balancer. Cloudflare may process your IP address and connection metadata in accordance with Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. For users in regions where Cloudflare is unavailable, traffic may be routed through an alternative proxy to ensure service availability.
1.5 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect the content of your streams or playlists.
- We do not track your viewing habits for advertising purposes.
- We do not collect biometric data.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (see Section 8).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the UniPlayer service, including credit-based subscription management.
- Authenticate your account and manage device access.
- Synchronize your viewing progress across devices.
- Process transactions and credit your account.
- Respond to your support requests.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, unauthorized access, and technical issues.
- Send service-related communications (e.g., subscription status, critical updates).
- Improve our service based on aggregated, non-identifiable usage patterns.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or sale to third parties.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We use cookies and similar technologies on our website (my.uniplayer.net) for:
- Authentication — to keep you signed in to your account.
- Session management — to maintain your preferences during a browsing session.
- Security — to detect and prevent unauthorized access.
We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google AdSense or any advertising network.
You can configure your browser to reject cookies, though this may affect your ability to sign in and use certain features of the service.

We use the following third-party services to operate UniPlayer:

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Data Protection
We implement the following security measures:
- All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/SSL.
- Database access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Payment processing is handled entirely by PCI-compliant third-party providers.
- Sensitive data at rest is stored on managed infrastructure with encryption.
- Access to production systems requires multi-factor authentication.
While we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data by logging into your account at my.uniplayer.net.
- Correct your information through your account settings.
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon account deletion, your subscription and all credit balances will be permanently canceled.
- Export your account data upon request.
- Withdraw consent to data processing by contacting us (this will result in account closure).
After account deletion, we will remove collected information promptly, except sign-up IP addresses retained for anti-abuse purposes and transaction records retained as required by law. Additionally, accounts without an active subscription that have been inactive for more than 3 months may be subject to data cleanup (see Section 7).

Inactive Account Cleanup
If your account has no active subscription (zero credit balance) and you have not used the service for more than 3 months, we reserve the right to delete your personal data, playlists, and other account-associated information. We will attempt to notify you via your registered email address before such deletion. This cleanup process is intended to minimize unnecessary data retention in accordance with data minimization principles.
8. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
UniPlayer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 9. Do Not Track
We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. When a DNT signal is detected, we do not engage in cross-site tracking or behavioral profiling.
10. International Users
UniPlayer is operated from the Republic of Moldova. If you access our service from outside Moldova, your information may be transferred to and processed in Moldova or other jurisdictions where our infrastructure is hosted (including the United States and the European Union via DigitalOcean and Cloudflare data centers). By using UniPlayer, you consent to such transfer and processing.
11. California Privacy Rights (CalOPPA)
In accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act:
- Users can visit our site and use our app without being required to reveal their identity (beyond account registration).
- This Privacy Policy is accessible from our website.
- You will be notified of any material changes to this policy via our website and/or Telegram channel (@UniPlayerApp).
- You can review and update your personal information by logging into your account.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website and/or our Telegram channel (@UniPlayerApp). The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of UniPlayer after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
