IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING UNIPLAYER.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using UniPlayer (“Software” or “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”). If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using UniPlayer and remove it from all your devices.
This Agreement is a legally binding contract between you (“User”) and Ivan Pavlenco (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the sole developer and operator of UniPlayer.
2. Description of Service
UniPlayer is a multimedia player application for IPTV and OTT content playback. The Service is available on the following platforms:
- Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K (tvOS 15 and later)
- iPad and iPhone (iOS 15 and later)
UniPlayer does not provide, host, store, or distribute any media content. Users must supply their own M3U/M3U8 playlists or compatible stream URLs from their own providers. UniPlayer functions as a neutral media player, analogous to applications such as VLC media player.
3. License
Subject to the terms of this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use UniPlayer for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with this Agreement.
This license does not constitute a sale. We retain all right, title, and interest in and to UniPlayer, including all intellectual property rights.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, sublicense, sell, resell, lease, rent, or lend UniPlayer or your access to it.
- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on UniPlayer.
- Use UniPlayer’s name, logo, or branding to promote other products or services without prior written consent.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control features of UniPlayer.
4. Subscription and Credit System
4.1 Free Trial
New users receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No payment information is required to begin the trial.
4.2 Credit-Based Subscription
After the free trial, continued use of UniPlayer requires purchasing credits:
- 1 credit = 1 day of service for up to 4 active devices.
- Credits are purchased in packages at various price points. A full list of available packages is shown in the app and on the website.
- Credits are non-expiring — purchased credits remain on your account until used.
- Credits are cumulative — purchasing multiple packages adds credits together.
- Credits are consumed automatically: 1 credit is deducted per calendar day when at least one device is active.
- The subscription is non-auto-renewing. We never charge you automatically. Each credit purchase is a one-time transaction initiated by you. There are no recurring billing cycles, hidden fees, or automatic deductions from your payment method.
4.3 Devices
- Your account supports up to 4 active devices by default, consuming 1 credit per day total.
- Additional device slots may be available at additional cost.
- You may manage your active devices through the app or your account at my.uniplayer.net. To add a new device when all slots are occupied, you must first remove an existing device.
4.4 Pricing
General pricing changes. We reserve the right to modify pricing for credit packages at any time. Changes to pricing will not affect credits already purchased. We will provide reasonable notice of pricing changes via our website and/or Telegram channel (@UniPlayerApp).
Regional pricing. Credit package prices may vary by region. We may introduce, modify, or remove region-specific pricing at our discretion, with notice provided through our public channels.
Apple App Store pricing. For purchases made via Apple In-App Purchase, Apple determines the final price displayed to you based on its pricing tier system. Apple may adjust regional pricing tiers at any time without our involvement or prior notice. The price shown in the App Store at the time of your purchase is the final price. Apple may also charge applicable taxes.
Third-party fees. Payment processors (FreeKassa, PayPal, CoinRemitter) may apply their own transaction fees or currency conversion charges. These fees are determined by the respective payment provider and are outside our control. We recommend reviewing your payment provider’s fee schedule before making a purchase.
4.5 Promotional Pricing and Promo Codes
We may offer promotional pricing, discounts, or special offers at our sole discretion. Promotional pricing may be introduced, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. Promotional prices apply only to new purchases made during the promotional period and do not affect previously purchased credits.
We may issue promotional codes (“promo codes”) that grant credits, discounts, or other benefits. Regarding promo codes:
- Promo codes are subject to specific terms and conditions communicated at the time of issuance.
- We reserve the right to modify the terms of, limit, or invalidate any promo code at any time and for any reason.
- Promo codes cannot be exchanged for cash, resold, or transferred.
- We reserve the right to revoke credits obtained through promo codes that were used fraudulently, in violation of their terms, or through technical exploitation.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment Methods
Payments may be processed through:
- Apple In-App Purchase — via your Apple ID.
- FreeKassa — supporting bank cards, YuMoney, QIWI, cryptocurrency, and other methods.
- PayPal — processed via PayPal’s platform.
- CoinRemitter — cryptocurrency payments.
5.2 Payment Security
We do not collect, store, or process your payment credentials (credit card numbers, bank account details, etc.). All payments are processed by third-party payment providers through their secure channels. We receive only transaction identifiers and payment confirmation status.
5.3 Failed Transactions
If a payment fails or is declined, funds are returned by the payment processor automatically. We do not hold or process funds from unsuccessful transactions.
6. User Responsibilities and Content
6.1 User-Provided Content
UniPlayer is a playback tool for user-provided content. You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the legal right to access and view all content played through UniPlayer.
- The playlists, stream URLs, and any other media sources you add to your account.
- Compliance with all applicable laws regarding the content you access.
6.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use UniPlayer to:
- Access, download, share, or distribute pirated content or any content to which you do not hold the necessary rights.
- Access, display, or distribute material that is pornographic, obscene, defamatory, libelous, abusive, or promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence based on religion, ethnicity, race, gender, sexual orientation, age, or any other protected characteristic.
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
6.3 No Content Responsibility
We are not responsible for the quality, legality, availability, or accuracy of any content accessed through UniPlayer. We do not monitor, review, or control user-provided playlists or streams. Stream quality, buffering, and availability are determined by your content provider and network conditions, not by UniPlayer.
Any banners displayed within UniPlayer appear only when your subscription is inactive and are related solely to UniPlayer subscription status — we do not insert advertising or banners into media streams.
7. Intellectual Property
UniPlayer, including all code, design, graphics, interfaces, and documentation, is protected by copyright law and international treaty provisions. All rights not expressly granted in this Agreement are reserved.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use any part of UniPlayer’s code, design, images, or branding without prior written authorization.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
UNIPLAYER IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Any particular content will be accessible or playable.
- The Service will meet your specific requirements.
- Defects will be corrected within any specific timeframe.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL IVAN PAVLENCO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE UNIPLAYER, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to UniPlayer shall not exceed the amount you paid for UniPlayer credits in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ivan Pavlenco from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use of UniPlayer.
- Your violation of this Agreement.
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
- Content you access, distribute, or display through UniPlayer.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may terminate this Agreement at any time by deleting your account and removing UniPlayer from all your devices. Upon termination, any remaining credits on your account will be forfeited.
11.2 By Us
We may terminate or suspend your access to UniPlayer immediately, without prior notice, if you violate any provision of this Agreement, including but not limited to use of the Service to access pirated content. Upon termination, your license to use UniPlayer is revoked and any remaining credits are forfeited.
11.3 Inactive Accounts
If your account has no active subscription (zero credit balance) and you have not used the Service for more than 3 consecutive months, we reserve the right to delete your account data, including personal information, playlists, and other account-associated data. We will attempt to notify you via your registered email address before such deletion. This does not affect transaction records, which are retained as required by applicable law.
11.4 Effect of Termination
Financial obligations incurred prior to termination survive the termination of this Agreement.
12. Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous availability of UniPlayer but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to network outages, third-party service disruptions, or regional infrastructure restrictions).
In certain regions, access to our infrastructure may be affected by network restrictions. We recommend using a VPN or proxy if you experience connectivity issues with my.uniplayer.net or the service endpoints.
13. Communication and Support
13.1 Primary Support Channel
The primary and official channel for customer support and service-related inquiries is email: [email protected]. All support requests, account issues, payment inquiries, and formal communications should be directed to this address.
13.2 Telegram Channel and Chat
We operate a Telegram channel (@UniPlayerApp) and an associated community chat for news, updates, and community discussion. Regarding the Telegram community:
- The Telegram channel and chat are supplementary communication channels, not a replacement for email support.
- The community chat is moderated by automated systems (bots) that have the authority to restrict or ban users who violate community rules, including but not limited to: spamming, posting offensive content, distributing pirated content links, or repeated disruptive behavior.
- Restriction or ban from the Telegram chat does not affect your access to the UniPlayer service, your account, your credits, or your ability to receive support via email.
- Community rules for the Telegram chat may be updated at our discretion.
14. Modifications to Service and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of UniPlayer at any time. We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via our website and/or Telegram channel (@UniPlayerApp). Continued use of UniPlayer after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Moldova. Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Moldova.
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
